at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center in Erie, PA,
on April 14, 2007
Sarah Robich received a first place award in the Organismal Biology platform section for:
Supercooling points of Eurosta
solidaginis larvae:
value distribution profile and effect of subzero temperature treatments.
Sarah also received a certificate as the Slippery Rock University
2007 Outstanding CPUB student.
Julie Burris received a third place award for
An initial study of the anti-fungal properties of Streptomyces purpureus
in
the Cellular and Molecular Biology platform section
Sara Mullendore presented Impact of sex,
reproductive status and soil conditions
on the mycorrhizal status of wild
strawberry plants (Fragaria virginiana)
Sarah Dobson presented a poster entitled
Assessment of
the metabolic activity of chamber-grown Fragaria virginiana during flowering.
Sarah was a recipient of a CPUB Student Research grant (announced earlier) to
fund her research.
