You will present once during term on the topic of the week . . . (how many presentations depends on the number of students in the class . . . ). The goal of your presentation is to teach the class for between twenty minutes and half an hour. Don't worry about using any multimedia or posters or anything of this sort. Concentrate on the way to present your issues orally and via interaction with the class.

Requirements:

  1. You may conduct class however you like: as a mini-lecture, or more as a seminar, depending on whatever you feel comfortable with.
  2. However you conduct it, allow room for interaction and questions with the class during your presentation time.
  3. Include a handout for the class, professionally presented, with the following sections:
    1. a list of the central ideas you want to communicate (a sentence or so for each), and
    2. the texts you are discussing, primary and secondary.
  4. Hand in to me a document after your presentation with the following sections:
    1. the primary and secondary texts you are discussing,
    2. the central ideas you wanted to communicate (a sentence or so for each),
    3. and a discussion, written out in prose, of the content of your talk.

Grading:

The presentation is worth 10% of your final grade.
