Medieval Feast
Fall, 2009

His breed, his ale, was alweys after oon;
A bettre envyned man was nowhere oon.
Withoute bake mete was nevere his hous,
Of fissh and fessh, and that so plentevous
It snewed in his hous of mete and drynke.


This term's Chaucer class will be hosting a Medieval Feast on Tuesday, November 10th. All with an interest in the medieval ages are invited to come and share some contribution to celebrate.

Festivities begin at 6:30 pm at the Ski Lodge.
Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Please R.S.V.P. to Derrick Pitard in the English Dept. (x2369) by Monday, November 2nd so that we will know how much food to prepare.

His table dormant in his halle alway
Stood redy covered al the longe day.

But NOTE: Bring your own utensils! We will provide the plates and the provender; you must provide the means to eat and drink.
