Exercise #10

Animation with frills:

a simple bit of "Randomation"

another note on Passing things through windows

Slipping University of Rock (result of translation to French and back again with non-associativity of concatenation under English semantics). This uses two copies of a picture placed side-by-side with the seam between them blurred using an image editor. The picture is displayed "under" a GIF file which has a transparent hole in the middle. The underlying picture is then moved, a few pixels at a time, inside a recursive window.setTimeout. As an exercise, do the same thing using layers for the Netscape browser.

Butterflies The images here have been placed inside DIV tags the transparency of which has been modified. Older versions of Netscape do not recognize the transparency attribute.
